The county extends the availability of COVID-19 vaccination to the age of 75 News

Due to the slowdown in COVID-19 vaccination appointments, San Diego County has today expanded its eligibility to include those age 75 and older.

“We took this action today to add people aged 75 and over because they are at greatest risk,” said Wilma J. Wooten, MD, MPH, a county public health officer. It remains our intention to extend the vaccines to people aged 65 and over in the week of January 25, depending on the availability of the vaccine.

These new requirements apply to the Petco Park vaccination station and other distribution points that supply the county vaccine. More information is at coronavirus-sd.com/vaccine, and reservations can be made at vaccinationsuperstationsd.com.
