Drama is no stranger to Reddit, as many of you may know. And while more than A fwe giggled or giggled at Reddit arguments that exploded or took off strange twists, there is now a new way to check what is happening in the comments.
Micah Price, software engineer from Cape Town, South Africa, on Sunday revealed a genius bot which turns Reddit’s arguments into scenes from As Attorney, Capcom series IIn which lawyer Phoenix Wright struggles to get rid of his clients with his help investigation Askills in the courtroom, Mashable reported. The video arguments come with dramatic and famous music “Objection!” slogan. The results are entertaining, hilarious, and honestly sometimes do notthe sense. There are, of course, some that you get a “terrible”, awful, when you see what people are arguing about.
In an interview with Massable, Price said he got the idea from other videos based on the game’s memes on YouTube.
“Dramatic music is great,” Price told the press, “especially for the melodramatic debates on Reddit.”
According to the video about the price of the bot posted on YouTube, the bot checks the most frequent users in the comment chain and then loops all the comments in their chain. A neuronal network then pto check if the comment tone is negative or positive. If the comment is considered negative, it will cause an “Objection!” In the meantime, a positive comment would provoke a happy expression. The bot, which takes about 10 minutes to respond, will then make a video based on the comments and send it to the user in a link on Reddit.

Now, to the big question in everyone’s mind: can you use it? The bot can be used by anyone on Reddit who enters “bot comments” or “! Objection-bot ”in comments. However, there is only one catch: the subreddit you are posting to must be on the list of accepted subreddit bots, which you can see here. If the preferred subreddit for argumentation is not on the list, Price takes suggestions that it should add.
The robot took about three days to make, Price said, adding that he used Python, as well as libraries for computer vision and machine learning in development. It is open-source and can be found on GitHub. Shortly after launch“The robot was an uber buggy,” he said. In fact, according to the bot’s user page, u / objection-bot, broke for a few hours when Price went to bed. He fixed it later, but so did his muzzle rEPORTS that it is, “back and running for now.”
