“When I worked with Phil Spector, watching him create in the recording studio, I knew I was working with the best. He had complete control, leading everyone. So much loved in those days. Meeting him and falling in love was like a fairy tale. The magical music we were able to make together was inspired by our love. I loved him madly and I gave him his heart and soul ”.
The “Be My Baby” singer, who spoke in depth about the abuse and revenge she suffered at the hands of her ex-husband before and after the 1974 divorce, also referred to the bad times.
“As I said many times while he was alive, he was a brilliant producer, but a miserable husband. Unfortunately, Phil failed to live and function outside the recording studio. Ronnie, who has been married to Phil for six years, previously accused her of firing a gun on her, forcing her to sign a divorce agreement that would have removed her from future record gains and even lobbied for Rock. and Roll Hall of Fame does not induce her.
