“My mother, Pilar Monroe Schneider, died peacefully after spending a perfect Sunday dinner in a family surrounded by loved ones: her daughter April, her son-in-law Matt, her niece Crystal and her great-grandchildren.” Schneider wrote.

Pilar Monroe was a survivor of World War II in the Philippines and in the 1950s, after going through hunger and many injustices, she came to the United States in search of a better life.
At the age of 92, the actor’s mother lost her life.
Schneider is a well-known fan of Tigres, because his wife, Mexican Patricia Azarcoya, is also a fan of the feline group.
