The couple was originally scheduled to get married in Italy in June, but they had their plans and a subsequent ceremony canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, and the couple decided not to bother formalizing their union.
During an appearance on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM Radio Andy in December, the host suggested a comparison with Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, who have been together since 1983 but never married.

“So, in March or April, we look down at the pipe and say, ‘Maybe this won’t happen.’ Italy is the worst place in the world. And we were getting married in Italy.
“I said, ‘Okay, we have to cancel everything.’ And we had to take out all this money and all this stuff, we were like, “We have to cancel it.” So we canceled it.

However, Lopez pointed to Goldie and Kurt and suggested that there are other options for her and A-Rod, who have been together since February 2017.
She said, “But the same thing with Goldie and Kurt, you think, should? We should? It took us a while to stop and think about it.
