Update: Just to avoid any doubt, the developer Hitman IO Interactive has reconfirmed that the future Hitman 3 will be released on the Switch on January 20 along with other versions of the game – of course, in its Cloud Version form.
Original article (Tuesday, 15 December 2020 11:30 GMT): The official opening movie for Hitman 3 has been released, giving us another juicy proof of what will come when the end of the trilogy hits Switch.
If you need a quick recovery, Hitman 3 will be the third and final installment of the World of Assassination trilogy after Hitman and Hitman 2. It will be released on Switch in January along with other versions, but Switch owners will have to comply with a cloud version – which means you’ll have to stream it to the console with a solid internet connection rather than downloading the game per se.
The trailer shows the famous star 47 of the series, jumping into action in Dubai. We would argue that there is a decent chance that this will be the setting for the first sequence of the game, but we will have to wait and see.
