Police want rapper YFN Lucci for murder

Atlanta rapper YFN Lucci is wanted for murder in connection with a shooting last December that left one dead and one injured, authorities said.

Atlanta police also announced a $ 5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the 29-year-old rapper, whose real name is Rayshawn Bennett, on Tuesday, news media reported.

Bennett is accused of, among other things, murder, aggravated assault and involvement in a criminal gang for the shooting that took place on December 10 in the southwest of the city.

Police said they found James Adams, 28, with a gunshot wound to the head, and he was pronounced dead in a hospital. Later that day, Kevin Wright, 32, arrived at a fire station with a gunshot wound to the abdomen that he survived.

The authorities found that both cases were related.

Police said Ra’von Boyd, 23, and a 17-year-old minor were also charged and arrested in Miami. No details were released regarding Bennett’s involvement, and it was unclear if he had a lawyer to comment on his behalf.

Lucci is known for the 2016 song ‘Key to the Streets’, which he recorded with rap group Migos.
