HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Memorial Healthcare System announced on Wednesday that it has received its first batch of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and is currently scheduling meetings for medical professionals and those 65 and older.
The Pfizer-BioNtech vaccine is also still offered by the health system until stocks run out.
Vaccinations will only be available by appointment.
There are two options for registering for meetings: visit https://mychart.mhs.net. A section called “appointments” is scheduled in your chart to make an appointment. Choose a date, time and location that suits you.
Those who meet the criteria to make an appointment can also call the centralized appointment of the health system, calling 954-276-4340, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 17:00. The call center is closed on weekends. Keep in mind that callers may have a longer waiting time than normal.
Below are the vaccination locations and times that are currently open for appointments:
- Specialty Memorial Pharmacy, 9581 Premier Parkway, Miramar.
- Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5.30pm Closed on Sundays.
- Memorial Regional Hospital Conference Center, 3501 Johnson Street, Hollywood.
- Schedule: Monday, lunch until 19:30; Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Closed on weekends.
What to expect at vaccination sites?
- Vaccines will be provided only on schedule, while stocks last.
- Bring a state-issued license or photo ID to check in at the site. Healthcare workers must provide proof of authorization.
- To maintain social distance, unaccompanied attendants will be asked to stay out.
- Wear a shirt or top with an accessible arm.
- Children are not allowed on the site. There are no childcare services.
