Coronavirus Vaccine: Hermann COVID-19 Vaccine Memorial Clinic in NRG Park to Open This Week

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – The Hermann Memorial is teaming up with NRG Park to offer a COVID-19 vaccination clinic this week.

The clinic will be open on Thursday, January 14, until Sunday, January 17, from 7:00 to 19:00

During this four-day event, Hermann Memorial plans to vaccinate approximately 13,000 people age 65 and older, based on the state’s Phase 1B distribution guidelines. The clinic is only available to those who are pre-registered to receive the vaccine.

“Due to the limited number of vaccines, people who do not have a confirmation of the meeting or a photo ID that matches the name and date of birth on the confirmation of the appointment will not be vaccinated,” reads a statement posted on the Hermann Memorial website.

People who have been invited to attend this event include active and stable Hermann Medical Group Memorial patients who are 65 years of age or older, those who have an established relationship with the hospital system and are 65 years of age or older, and community members. generals who are 65 years of age or older.

“We remain committed to expanding our vaccination capacity by adding more locations and more meetings as soon as possible,” the statement said. We also hope to host more such events in the near future, as we continue to make vaccination available to all those who are eligible and, ultimately, to all patients and community members.

Vaccination is scheduled only for those who qualify according to state guidelines, and accessories will not be accepted.
