Game Awards in December last year was the most tweeted game event, in which New Horizons won the best family game and we saw Sephiroth announced as the newest Smash Bros. character.

Fortnite, Minecraftand Animal Crossing again. “PlayStation” and “Xbox” were ranked in the top ten, but “Nintendo” and “Switch” failed – possibly because we can’t all bear the brunt of new direct rumors. Sigh.
In the meantime, it seems Among us brought a huge recognition to his most famous players, as a musician and famous deep-voice-haver @Corpse_Husband cracks the top ten “Most tweeted about gaming personalities” following his streams with US representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar.
We know we were guilty of using Twitter to find cute Animal Crossing templates for our islands, but how did you use social media to talk about games? Tell us in the comments.
