As part of the process of implementing the Order Task, which began on January 1, consumers belonging to non-state forms of management will have the opportunity to define the rate for which monthly electricity consumption will be billed, according to Unión Eléctrica (UNE ).
In a statement issued by UNE, in order to opt for this service it is necessary that users do not have accounts pending the payment of the electricity service.
To start the process, the consumer must present himself at the Commercial Office of his territory with the following documents: identity card; document accrediting you as a worker in a form of non-state management; and details of the bank account to which the billing amount will be debited.
In UNE trade offices across the country, the process of requesting a rate change will begin once they have been published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Cuba.
From that moment, and respecting the requirements described above, the non-state management worker can start the employment process with the Company.
“It is not necessary to install an additional meter in the home where the work is carried out,” said the information issued by UNE.
