14 passengers banned by airline after noisy flight from DC to Seattle

According to a statement from Alaska Airlines, the 14 passengers were banned from flying with the airline after they were “non-mask-compliant, noisy, quarrelsome and harassed our crewmembers” on a Thursday night flight from Washington Dulles to Seattle.

Delta has banned 460 anti-masks

“Their behavior was unacceptable,” the airline said. “We apologize to our other guests who were uncomfortable during the flight.”

When the airline was asked for more details about the passengers, the airline told CNN that they are “focused on the individual actions of those passengers and their non-compliance with our mask policy.”

“We are grateful and grateful for the efforts of our dedicated crew members who work every day to keep travel safe and respectful,” said the airline.

To date, Alaska Airlines says it has banned 288 passengers for violating our mask policy since it went into effect – some do not include these 14 passengers.

Other airlines have banned passengers for not adhering to mask rules while flying.
Across the country, anti-masks have in some cases threatened or assaulted workers when asked to wear a mask, prompting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to issue a recommendation in August stating they would not argue with customers if they become violent.
