Why is it interesting? Because of its strange history. FAM means “Ferrari’s bottom is mine” (“The Ferrari bottom is mine“), referring to the rivalry that Carroll Shelby and Ford had with Ferrari. This detail also explains why the car has the classic Ferrari color combination: red with beige interiors.

This car was a Shelby custom. It was a Shelby custom in the 1990s and is part of the Cobra’s CSX1000 series, which consists of only 14 cars. Only two of them are the FAM edition.

The car has an aluminum Shelby 427 FE 468 V8 engine, Tremec TKO600 five-speed manual transmission, independent transmission, oil cooler, four-wheel independent suspension and Wilwood brakes.

Given the rarity of the car, it is expected to get a high price at the auction, which will take place on March 20 and 21 in with Auction .
