The former administrator of the Dominican Corporation of State Electric Companies (Cdeee), Radhamés Segura, did not appear on Thursday for the interview he scheduled with the Inspector General of the Public Ministry.
Segura, who was called at 3:00 this afternoon to answer questions about the bribery case of the Brazilian construction company Odebrecht, presented through his lawyer Nassir Rodríguez, a medical excuse that claims that goes through a viral process.
The Public Ministry started the interrogations of the eight involved in the Odebrecht case, who were favored with the final file.
In addition to Segura, the authorities are expected to interrogate the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Alfredo Pacheco; Rudy González, César Sánchez, Bernardo Castellanos and Máximo de Óleo.
Although his appointment was for last Wednesday, former senator Julio César Valentín also presented a medical apology. The President of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Juan Temístocles Montás, was questioned about the case on December 4, 2020.
The final case in favor of eight of those involved in the Odebrecht case took place one year and three months after the then Attorney General of the Republic, Jean Alain Rodríguez, issued the order for the interim case in favor of the accused.
