British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, this Wednesday denounced “shameful scenes” in Washington following the arrival of the president’s followers Donald Trump in Congress and called for a “peaceful transition” of power with Democrat Joe Biden.
“Shameful scenes in the US Congress. The United States is the defender of democracy around the world and now it is vital that the transfer of power is done in a peaceful and orderly manner,” he estimated in a tweet.

The attack on Congress came as both houses held a session to confirm Democrat Joe Biden’s election victory in last November’s presidential election.
The followers of the president, who had come to Washington, summoned by Trump, who harassed them at a rally for the White House, then they went to the Capitol and broke in by force.
