NASHVILLE, Tennessee (WTVF) – Gov. Bill Lee has announced a new website designed to help Tennessees navigate the COVID-19 vaccination plan, informing them when they are eligible to receive it.
The eligibility tool is an online questionnaire that tells people whether or not they are currently eligible to be vaccinated. If the resident is not currently eligible, they are asked to provide a phone number or email so that they can be informed once they can receive the vaccine.
“In addition to creating a strong distribution infrastructure, we are currently one of the top states in the country for total doses administered, vaccinating more than 150,000 Tennessees in just two weeks,” Governor Lee said in a news release. “This tool is another step we are taking to provide Tennessees with critical information as our vaccine supply grows and more stages become eligible.”
They will receive updates and notifications about their vaccine phase and provide information about the risk-based and age-based phase at the county level.
Health officials recommend residents call the local health department to find out more about when / if they will be available for vaccination. The vaccine phases and the current estimated timeline of the vaccine can be found here. The eligibility tool and COVID-19 information can be accessed here.
