The star, who recently said she has a month of sobriety under her belt, posted some photos of her evening on her verified Instagram account.
One presented her and her husband John Legend with similar faces.
“Mother and father wish you a happy new year, healthy and beautifully blessed with the purest joys and the most positive ~ * vibrations * ~”, it was written in the subtitles.
She also shared a photo of the couple with their close friends, Jen Atkins and Mike Rosenthal.
A video showed Atkins and Legend playing a board game while Teigen peeled a green apple.
“Cinnamon that rolls in the new year, lol, the sober new year is lit”, the legend read.
Earlier this week, Teigen told her followers that she was inspired to give up drinking after her doctor and friend offered her the book “Quit Like a Woman” by Holly Whitaker.
