Peloton now makes his own music for his classes

The fitness company releases remixes of three Elvis hits from DJ Dillon Francis, Outkast’s Big Boi and the electro-funk group Chromeo, to be used exclusively in a variety of classes. It is the first time that artists have created music exclusive to Peloton, which earlier this year settled a lawsuit with publishers accusing the cycling company of using unlicensed music.

Remixed songs include Elvis ‘”Catchin’ On Fast”, “Do the Vega” and “Clean Up Your Own Backyard”. Peloton users will listen to songs from an “Ultimate Remix” collection in its app and will be used in yoga, strength, base and outdoor running classes.

Last month, Beyoncé signed a multi-year agreement with Peloton to create a series of thematic training courses. It marked an important partnership for Peloton at a crucial point for its business: the platform’s popularity and sales grew during the pandemic, but some investors and analysts are worried that the launch of a coronavirus vaccine could persuade users to return to the subscription to gym their workouts at home.

To attract more customers, Peloton is once again extending its free trial period from one month to two months starting Wednesday. Last spring, when the pandemic hit the United States, Peloton extended its free trial period to 90 days, causing an increase in enrollment. Peloton reported in its latest earnings statement that the number of people paying for its application has quadrupled to more than 500,000 members.
peloton (PTON) had a successful year. Its stock has grown by about 500%, in 2020 there were record sales and the company unveiled a new line of fitness equipment. However, its popularity has come at the expense of upsetting customers who complain that delivery takes too long. Last week, he bought another equipment company to help speed up production.
