The Minister of Agriculture, Limber Cruz, ordered the immediate replacement of 37 agricultural technicians who were recently dismissed from this institution.
The decision was announced after an agreement was signed between the National Association of Agricultural Professionals (ANPA) and the Ministry of Agriculture.
The agreement takes into account the willingness of the ministry, as well as the union that brings together professionals and technicians to work together and in a sustained manner in favor of producers in different areas of the field, it is shown in a statement.
ANPA President Danilo Severino praised the sincere working climate and the solution created by Minister Cruz in the institution, for which he pledges to maintain and guarantee that climate of peace and harmony as a way to guarantee the country’s food security.
He noted that the Minister of Agriculture, with his good performance, created harmony and work in the agricultural entity.
The meeting was attended by the head of the ministry’s office, Freddy Fernández; as well as representatives of the Dominican Association of Agricultural Engineers (ADIA); of the Veterinary Association and of the College of Engineers, Architects and Surveyors (CODIA).
