A colleague of Lin’s – a 39-year-old man named Xu – was detained in Shanghai, authorities said in a statement that they had been alerted for the first time to an alleged poisoning on December 17.
Police said Xu was “suspected of committing a major crime.”
Two days before his death, Yoozoo issued a statement saying that Lin had been hospitalized due to “physical discomfort”, but was in stable condition and improving.
