Shake your money
I always like to end the year with a look at the list of best-selling games on Steam.
In addition to new versions of the profile, such as 2077. Cyberpunk and surprise indie hits like that Phasmophobia, 2020 was another year of games dominated by old flames that we can’t get rid of.
These were Steam’s “top 100 gross revenue games” in 2020:

I’m also fascinated by the most played section of Steam – the games with the highest competing players in 2020. cyberpunk and Among us are represented on the list of over 200,000 players simultaneously, as you might expect, but it’s still Life is weird 2. I’m really surprised to see this name appear.
Another interesting moment through Daniel Ahmad |: a lot of us have spent time on vacation for some (well more than “some”) PC games. This year, Steam had 23 million top competitors on Christmas Day – a notable step from 2019 (15.8 million users), 2018 (15.3 million) and 2017 (16.2 million).
If you’re curious, Steam also focuses on new releases, early access levels, the best VR games, and controller games – “the best control games of the year, as measured by daily active controller players.”
