Former queen and presenter Daniella Álvarez posted several photos on Instagram, in which she is seen on a beach in Puerto Velero, in Barranquilla.
In a two-piece green bathing suit, Álvarez looks very happy, even though he lost part of his left leg after March last year.
At that time, she had surgery for a small tumor that appeared on her abdomen. The mass was very close to the aorta and this artery was affected, preventing a good supply of blood to its lower extremities. Although several interventions were made, there was no solution and the amputation was performed on June 13.
During this time, Álvarez showed courage and endurance, appreciating his life and being with his family, as well as the opportunities presented to him, such as the presentation challengeof Snail.
And in the meantime he shows his complete prosthesis in several photos.
In addition, Álvarez recently told his followers that the nerves of the tibia and fibula in his right leg were completely damaged. “Electromyography has shown that he has a very serious injury from the knee down,” he said.
“(…) Although my right leg was in a very good condition, it was not functional at that time and the doctors told me that, with therapies, currents and exercises, the surest thing is that it will recover.” it was not like that.
“Things are as they are and not as we would like them to be. This is the reality of life, but only when we believe in God, have faith and hope, do we understand that everything happens for something. Today I know what my life mission is and I understand that God makes my task a little more difficult to be able to show many people that what we have is more than enough to achieve what we propose.“Miss Columbia 2012 wrote on December 7.
However, he does not lose his positivism and, while spending the last days of the year with his family, writes: “I’m here. I’ve dreamed of him since I was in the ICU. I just wanted this day to come when I enjoy the sea breeze, where I would forget all the difficulties. This is the place where I never miss anything and I guess … IT HAS ARRIVED !! “.
