Chrishell Stause responds to family photo criticism

Chrishell Stause understands – but does not apologize – the criticism of his family’s Christmas gathering amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The 39-year-old “Selling Sunset” stared at angry fan comments on a series of group photos she shared – saying she and her family were tested for COVID-19 before and after. their celebration.

“For those who support Covid’s concerns, I understand and agree that this was not a good use of my platform. Normally, I always try to be socially responsible for my posts, because I am naturally a compassionate person. I see how this does not prove this for some “, she wrote on Instagram.

Stause, whose boyfriend Keo Motsepe was also in the photos, said her followers might disagree with the group’s meeting, but hoped they could “see where they came from.”

“This is the first Christmas without our mother, we felt important to be there for each other in a difficult year,” she wrote.

Stause’s mother died of cancer during the summer. Her father died in 2019.

As for Motsepe, she said: “Keo brought such a welcome and selfish happiness I posted at a very happy time.”

Stause – who broke up with “This Is Us” star Justin Hartley last year – confirmed his love with Motsepe, a “Dancing with the Stars” pro, earlier this month. She and Hartley were married for two years.
