So you can use WhatsApp states to congratulate Christmas

WhatsApp statuses, the ephemeral content of the messaging app, allow users to share personalized updates in various formats and are presented at this date as an option to congratulate friends and family for Christmas.

With statuses, users can share updates that disappear after 24 hours, whether it’s text, video, a photo, or a gif. They can also be customized with items such as “stickers”, filters or text and have a maximum duration of 30 seconds.

This type of content can become a “window to share Christmas” in chats and can animate the holiday from a distance, for example, with a Christmas contest to see who put the most lights in your home.

Status visibility can be configured to be visible to all contacts, but exceptions can also be introduced (visible to everyone except …) or limited to a group of people (share only with …).

HOW TO LOAD A WHATSAPP STATUS

Uploading a status on WhatsApp is as easy as opening the app. In it, users will find, on the main page, three tabs at the top (chats, statuses and calls). You just have to go to the “states”.

Once inside, they will see that “My Status” is written next to your profile picture. By clicking directly on this option, I can open the camera – if I want to share a photo or video – or the gallery, from where I can select the desired content.

Once selected, I can edit it or add a comment. Once done, you only have to press the submit button for it to be published.

The Status tab also displays contact updates. To see them, just click on them, they will open in a larger window. And while playing, users can answer them.
