The Packers register RB Jamaal Williams as questionable for Week 16 vs. titanium

Green Bay Packers rookie running back AJ Dillon could have the biggest chance in the NFL on Sunday night against the Tennessee Titans.

The Packers listed back-to-back Jamaal Williams (quad) as questionable for Week 16, probably snatching Matt LaFleur’s favorite complementary run with Aaron Jones and giving Dillon – the second-round pick – the chance to contribute significantly during a prim-time match against one of AFC’s best teams.

Dillon, who missed five games while on the COVID-19 reserve list, carried 24 times on 115 yards in the 2020 season. He failed to score more than five times in a single game. , but his workload could increase significantly, most likely the number 2 of the crime that will return on Sunday night.

A key player, Williams injured his leg after taking a catch against the Carolina Panthers and never returned. He could not participate at all during training this week.

Packers also ruled out Jace Sternberger (concussion) and safety Will Redmond (concussion), and goalkeeper Simon Stepaniak (knee) was questionable.

Despite a 20-player injury list throughout the week, the Packers did not award a 16-player injury title, meaning all 16 will play on Sunday.

The Titans ruled out defender Derick Roberson, but eliminated 12 other players from the injury report.
