“I only see him as the light at the end of the tunnel,” said Dr. Todd Husty, medical director in Seminole County. “It simply came to our notice then. That’s how we’ll get rid of this damn thing. “

Seminole County received 8,100 doses of Moderna vaccine on Tuesday night.

On Wednesday, public health workers and emergency medical technicians received the first two doses of the vaccine.

Husty said his team will move the vaccine to people 65 and older on Monday and bring the vaccine to people.

He said that in addition to the Oviedo Mall, staff will also focus on older communities.

“Whether it is people aged 65 and older, we must continue to think about law enforcement and teachers. We have a lot of groups that should probably go to some degree, “he said.
