NYC goes wild when it comes to COVID-19 … the police attacked a club full of over 160 owners who did not wear masks, clearly violating the state’s COVID-19 restrictions.
The bust fell around 2:45 AM Sunday in Queens, when the New York sheriff’s deputies entered the town to find the place packed like sardines. According to police … the shoulder-to-shoulder partygoers entered the building through an alley.
To make matters worse … the building is NOT set up to be a club – so in addition to violating COVID restrictions, operators were violating fire safety codes and were not even licensed to drink alcohol.
The sheriff’s department says 5 people have been charged with several offenses … including violating emergency orders.
In New York, there is a strict mandate that prohibits indoor and outdoor gatherings of more than 10 people who do not live in the same household.
This is not the first time that New York City police have had to close illegal units. Police arrested him a month ago in Midtown Manhattan, where nearly 400 people were spending their asses.
Then earlier this month, a bar in Staten Island made headlines for refusing to comply with state health orders … which led to the arrest of one of the bar’s owners.
