On Live on Saturday nightthe Christmas show, the sketch comedy parodied a 1992 Christmas movie Home Alone 2: Lost In New York.
Host Kristen Wiig described the Pigeon Lady as SNL in a “never before scene” in the film, recreating a meeting with Kevin, played by SNLChloe Fineman, in Central Park.
Into the Home alone 2, Pigeon Lady (played by Brenda Fricker) befriends Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) and helps him defeat the Wit Bandits.
Into the SNL treatment, Wiig’s Chicken is hungry and in need of shelter, while Fineman’s Kevin shows his father’s credit card paying for his stay at the Plaza. Take out a box of leftover pizza, but instead of giving it to the woman, feed the pigeons. Eventually he offers Pigeon Lady to get a suite at the Plaza for her. At that moment, on Wednesday bandits appear and threaten to take Kevin’s credit card. Desperate, Wiig’s Pigeon Lady kills them with her bare hands, using an umbrella, while Fineman screams Culkin’s famous culinary face from Home alone.
Then he reminds Kevin of his offer to book him a suite at the Plaza.
“Did you kill these guys?” Kevin says as he leaves.
“Not Kevin, we he killed him, ”says Pigeon Lady.
