Good. This is Boba Fett. Definitely no surprise. After a post-credits scene focused on the fate of the popular bounty hunter, a fade to black text was announced on the screen Boba Fett’s book which will come in December 2021. Now: is this a movie? The Disney + series? Maybe even the top-secret movie Taika Waititi that Disney recently announced? Right now, all we know is the title. But we can assume that Fennec Shand, now in his duty to save her life, will also be involved.

Boba Fett’s screenplays have been tried by Lucasfilm several times, but never reached production. When Lucasfilm first announced a live-action TV series under George Lucas, Fett should have been a part of it. That never happened, because technology and the budget never worked. Then when Star Wars spin-off movies as well Rogue One were first announced, Josh Trank intended to make a film centered on Boba. This did not happen after Trank’s difficulties with The fantastic four became public. At the time, Michael Fassbender was a name rumored to play the bounty hunter.
But now, Lucasfilm has a live-action Boba Fett with which everyone seems to be on board. And, although we won’t spoil the last scene, it leaves the character in a prime position for a new story.
Are you excited about a Boba Fett spin-off at last? Tell us what you’d like to see in the comments.
