It seems that a global pandemic will not stand in the way of the various pre-Super Bowl holidays.

On Friday night, several musicians hosted concerts and parties in and around the city of Tampa, Florida, in anticipation of the annual sporting event.

Many of the events have been advertised as being aware of COVID, although many of the photos and videos taken during the performances show partygoers throwing caution in the wind while having fun.

One of the parties was hosted by rapper 50 Cent and took place in a St. Petersburg. airplane hangar.

The 45-year-old hitmaker promoted the event through his Instagram account and posted a leaflet with the message “tonight goes down and up” on the day of the show.

The rapper is set to host another event later tonight.

DJ Steve Aoki also hosted a pre-Super Bowl party at the WTR Tampa Pool at the Godfrey Waterfront Hotel, which TMZ covered.

The organizers of the event expressed the idea that masks should be worn and that everyone should be kept at a distance of six feet from each other.

However, footage from the event showed that none of the protocols were followed by anyone in particular.

The 43-year-old DJ and producer came into close contact with his fans to sprinkle champagne on them.

Rappers French Montana and Rick Ross hosted an event together and shared several videos on their Instagram stories.

Most of the performers or fans present were not seen following coronavirus safety protocols either.

The unforgettable rapper made a video while wearing a face mask at one point; he later removed his protective cover during the show.

On Thursday night, Tory Lanez threw a pre-Super Bowl event in the same place that Aoki will occupy one night later.

The 28-year-old composer also documented the event through his Instagram story and set out to share numerous photos from the non-social party.

Many fans have traveled from all over the United States to attend the Super Bowl and other functions associated with the annual sporting event, and many public officials are concerned that the increased social interaction will only serve to spread COVID-19.
