Paul McCartney: McCartney III [Capitol]

McCartney III reaches 50 years later McCartney and after 40 years McCartney II. Paul McCartney recorded the third long delay in the trilogy earlier this year while locked up at his home in Sussex, England. “I just did things I loved to do,” he said. “I had no idea this was going to be like an album.” McCartney’s previous album was in 2018 Egypt Railway Station.

Little Levi: Ruff Dog [self-released]

Ruff Dog is the first non-soundtrack album that Mica Levi released under her own name. Launched as a surprise, the lo-fi collection with 11 songs features a song title – which begins “A simple dressed Jimi Hendrix …” – which has 107 words. (The song itself lasts a little over a minute.) The album follows scores for movies as well The monkey, jack, and Under the skin.

V / A: Soul (original soundtrack for the movie) [Walt Disney]

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross marked the new Disney Pixar movie Soul. The film, starring Jamie Foxx and featuring original plays by Jon Batiste, is about a musician whose soul is separated from his body. Soul the soundtrack also includes “Rappin Ced” by Daveed Diggs and “Parting Ways” by Cody ChesnuTT.

Sheff G: Proud of me now [Winners Circle/RCA]

Following the release of his mixtape One and only and Only 4 years Earlier this year, Brooklyn rapper Sheff G released her debut album. It was produced by Great John and features the singles “No Negotiations” and “Lights On”.
