You will want to travel all over the country, looking around the world for these special editions of McDonalds Happy Meals.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Pokemon this year, the Japanese media franchise joins McDonald’s to turn its iconic Happy Meal box in front of Pikachu. But that’s not all. The boxes will also contain a special edition package of Pokémon playing cards and a surprise gift.
“There are 25 exclusive trading cards to be discovered and, for the first time, customers will receive four cards for every Happy Meal purchase,” McDonald’s said in a statement.
There are standard versions and foils of each of the 50 cards, all containing the Pokémon 25 logo.
In every happy dish, fans can also find one of two activity sticker sets, a Pokémon TCG display frame or a Pokémon TCG support box. They will be housed in a Pikachu envelope (with various works of the popular Pokémon), according to a press release.
The offer started on Tuesday and is valid only until stocks run out.
