25 minors have been hospitalized for COVID-19

The Ministry of Health reported this on Friday 25 minors remain in the hospital COVID-19, which translates into seven more pediatric patients than last Monday, when there were 18.

According to the agency none of the minors are locked up in an intensive care unit and none are connected to a ventilator.

The health report finds that from Monday to today there have been 131 new confirmed positive coronavirus cases in the group of patients 10 years or younger for a total of 4,531.

Likewise, the group of patients between the ages of 10 and 19 registered 208 new infections in the past five days. According to the health report, last Monday the number was 6,821 in this group and today it has risen to 7,029.

Until today, The country’s hospitals have 72 intensive care beds and 130 ventilation equipment for pediatric patients.

According to health data, Puerto Rico has today reached 80,111 confirmed cases with 998 new results in this line.

The agency also reported 223 new probable cases and 815 suspected cases, bringing the total in each line to 5,843 and 61,016 respectively.
