2 women arrested to disguise themselves as “grandmothers” to jump the COVID-19 vaccine line

Two women in Orlando, Florida, disguised themselves as elderly citizens in a failed attempt to finally cross the line for the COVID-19 vaccine.

The couple – aged 34 and 44 – were just moments away from receiving their second coronavirus shot on Wednesday at the Orange County Convention Center, when vaccinators noticed something about their appearances.

They “came dressed as grandparents,” Raul Pino, a Florida Department of Health health officer in Orange County, said Thursday.

“Caps, gloves, glasses, everything,” he added.

Police found that the birth dates listed on the women’s IDs did not match the ones they had used to register for the beatings, Fox 35 Orlando reported. It is not clear whether the women were similarly disguised when they received the first blows, if they did so at all.

An investigation into the incident is underway. The sheriff’s office in Orange County has issued warnings about violating women, Click Orlando reported.
