1,000 cars line up in Fort Worth for Turkey’s famous Leg Hut food truck in Houston – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

* Update: The Houston restaurant was scheduled to begin serving its world-famous turkey legs and Cajun bowls at 11 a.m. Friday in Fort Worth; car lines began to form around 9 a.m. and by 11 a.m., organizers said 1,000 cars were in line.

Turkey’s Leg Hut, a Houston-based company that has developed a wild track since its inception more than five years ago, is coming to Dallas-Fort Worth.

A food truck will be parked at The Potter’s House in Fort Worth between 11 a.m. and midnight on March 19, 20 and 21. Customers can buy stuffed turkey legs and Cajun bowls. (Note, Potter’s House has many campuses. This event is at Fort Worth Church.)

A spokeswoman said this is the first time Turkey Leg Hut has served food to the Dallas-Fort Worth public.

“People are asking us when we come to this area all the time on social media,” Leg Hut co-founder of Turkey Nakia Price said in a statement. “We’re excited to finally be able to share a taste of our signature menu from the Dallas-Fort Worth community, and we’re so grateful for The Potter’s House to host us for the weekend.”
