0.01% of vaccinated Israelis contract coronavirus

An Israeli public health care provider says 0.01 percent of people who received two doses of coronavirus vaccine tested positive for the virus.

Maccabi Healthcare Services is responsible for a program that uses the vaccine developed by Pfizer and its partner BioNTech. On Monday, it published the preliminary results of a survey of 128,600 people who received two doses.

Maccabi says 20 of the recipients were infected with the virus a week after receiving the second photo.

Maccabi says all 20 symptoms have developed, such as coughing and headaches, but none have been hospitalized.

It is added that ten of them suffer from basic conditions.

Maccabi says the data is preliminary, but very encouraging.

Israel is leading the world in rapid vaccinations. By Tuesday, 2.7 million people, or more than 30 percent of the country’s population, had received the first blows, and about 1.4 million had received a second fire.

Israel has reported that more than 600,000 of its 9 million people have been infected with the virus. The third blockade of the country is in force until the end of this month.

Israel began inoculating health workers and people aged 60 and over on December 19. The government intends to complete vaccinations for all those aged 16 and over by the end of March.
