Barcelona Sporting Club announced on Sunday evening that the first stage of the LigaPro Serie A-2020 championship against Liga de Quito will take place on Wednesday, December 23, at 19:00 at the Monumental Banco Pichincha stadium.
The yellows open the series playing at home because they finished second in the accumulated table, with 58 points, one less than the whites, who were winners in the initial phase of the tournament and the accumulated classification.
Quiteños reach the finals with better numbers not only because of their first place in the accumulated, but because in the direct duels with Guayaquil they did not lose any in 2020.
Barcelona could get only one point out of six possible in the two occasions in which they had to face Liga (Q), which took four.
