The evaluation board for Entertainment software evaluated They are no longer heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle for the computer.
Both games were relaunched for Switch on October 28th.
Here is a summary of each evaluation:
They are no longer heroes
This is an action game in which players take on the role of an assassin (Travis Touchdown) who fights among the United Assassins Association. Players use a retractable laser beam katana to cut, slash, push and dismember enemies in a frantic melee battle. The fights are highlighted by screams of pain and great effects of blood splatter. Some attacks result in an intense description of violence: enemies cut in half while blood gushes from wounds; decapitated characters while blood draws from the neck in exaggerated filth. The cutscenes also describe cases of violence: a murderer who commits suicide by putting a grenade in her mouth; a woman cut into several pieces in slow motion; a character who hits a few characters in the head with a baseball bat. The game contains references to sexual material: adult videos with titles such as “How to make a woman in bed 101 part 2”; “The best of raunchy amateur interviews 2”; and “Air Force One: First Lady Returns to the Mile High Club”; T-shirts with the word “Love T * ts” printed back. The words “f ** k” and “sh * t” can be heard in dialogue.
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle
This is an action game in which players take on the role of a retired assassin (Travis Touchdown) in a quest for revenge against an assassin. Players use a retractable laser beam katana to cut and kill enemy fighters and assassins in a frantic melee battle. Some attacks cause enemies to dismember their limbs and / or cut them in half as blood and money flow from their bodies. The cutscenes depict more intense acts of violence: the assassins cut each other into several slow-moving pieces; a killer cut in half, resulting in a large drop of blood from the cut waist; two women cut to pieces after being caught in a frantic sword fight – women’s heads sliding on the floor after the fight. The game contains sexual references in dialogue: “horny whore”, “throbbing”; “I feel like that perverted teacher in a porn movie.” A sequence depicts a kneeling woman moving a laser blade in front of a man’s groin, causing the retractable laser beam to expand. An anime show within the game contains an opening credit sequence that briefly describes a character’s buttocks. The words “f ** k” and “sh * t” are heard in the game.
