Thus it was known that the Guatemalan Mario Escobar Toca will be the central referee of this commitment at Morera Soto. This whistle will be played at the next Club World Cup in February.

Escobar Toca will be assisted by compatriot Gerson López and Costa Rican Víctor Ramírez, and Guatemalan Bryan López will also be the fourth official.

According to Concacaf, due to travel issues, the assistant referee 2 originally named for this match could not travel to Costa Rica in time to ensure compliance with all Concacaf protocols before the match.

In accordance with competition rules, the governing body appointed a replacement for a local FIFA referee.

It should be remembered that these types of problems have already appeared in this championship and this happened in the game Olympia vs Managua, when the whole four could not travel to Honduras and were named Honduran whistleblowers.

From this duel Alajuelense and Olimpia will emerge the first finalist of the CONCACAF League. The other finalist will be known next Friday when Saprissa from Costa Rica and Arcahaie FC from Haiti will meet.
