“Mr. President-elect, do you still think the stories from the trap about your son Hunter were Russian disinformation and a smear campaign like you said?” Doocy asked when the president-elect finalized questions from reporters in Wilmington, Del., On Tuesday.

‘Yes Yes Yes. God loves you, man. You’re a one-horse pony, ”Biden replied as he left the stage. “I promise my Justice Department will be on its own and pass judgment on how to proceed.”

Biden told reporters on Tuesday that he has not discussed the federal investigation into his son with any of his attorneys general.

“I guarantee I will do what I said,” he said. “The Attorney General of the United States of America is not the president’s attorney.”

“I will appoint someone who I expect to keep the law as it is written, not guided by me,” he added.

Hunter Biden said earlier this month that the US law firm in Delaware is investigating its tax cases. Reports suggest the probe is focusing on its business transactions.

The president-elect has said repeatedly that the Justice Department will be independent and unaffected by politics.
