Announced Pokémon Go January 2021 Machop Community Day

Pokémon GoThe first Community Day of the new year will feature combat-type Pokémon, Machop.

On January 16, 2021, Machop will generate many large quantities. At the time of writing, Pokémon Go The Community Day page has not been updated in an hour, but we can assume that the event will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time, based on previous community days.

Machop’s line of evolution is very useful in both PvP and raids, so this is a good chance to add some powerful Pokémon to your team. If he evolved into a Machamp during the event, he will learn Payback, which is not a good move for the raid, but a viable move for PvP.

As usual, the Pokémon presented will give birth with much higher chances of being Shining during the event. The star dust obtained from catching Pokémon will also be tripled.

Machop was previously an option in the player’s vote for a Community Day, which he lost to Rhyhorn. Dratini and Vulpix were also options in the election, but the implementation of a Machop community day may imply that Dratini and Vulpix could get another shot in the spotlight.

Niantic announced earlier this month that players purchasing a ticket to the upcoming Pokémon Go Tour: Kanto event through January 13 will have free access to special research lines for the January and February Community Days, each costing separately 0.99 USD.
