A passenger who died suddenly on a plane could have exposed nearly 200 people to coronavirus infection on a United Airlines flight, now Health officials are trying to find the travelers, according to a report.

The terrifying incident took place on Monday when the airline’s Flight 591 traveled from Orlando to California, United States, according to local media. TMZ.

The man who informed the airline that he had no symptoms of COVID-19 and that, according to him, he was therefore free from contracting the disease, he suddenly decompensated when the plane was already in the air. He started to shiver and sweat until he finally lost consciousness.

Some passengers rushed to intervene to give him CPR, with the intention of resuscitation.

“From the moment I intervened until the fire brigade came on board, at least 45 minutes passed”one of the passengers said in the middle TMZ. “There was no mouth-to-mouth contact, we did chest compressions.”

A compressible oxygen bag attached to a mask was used to help him breathe as the victim’s appearance worsened, “he looked dying,” said some of those present.

The plane crash-landed in New Orleans, in the state of Louisiana, where the victim was transferred to a local hospital. The flight was allowed to continue. The man died shortly afterwards.

The victim’s wife reportedly said on the plane, as some passengers have stated, that her husband had symptoms of COVID, and staff at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) then approached United Airlines offices in an attempt to locate the people who were on the plane.

All passengers were asked to complete a questionnaire stating they did not have COVID-19, but no one is required to provide evidence, as published in a US media note New York Post.

This is happening at a time when, with the help of United States armed forces and logistics operators, they are steering thousands of ultra-cold boxes of Moderna vaccines against COVID-19 to distribute them to more than 3,700 points in the country this Sunday and start the first injections on Monday.

“The boxes are being prepared and loaded today”, the General of the Army announced at a press conference on Saturday, Gus Perna, responsible for Operation Warp Speed, organized by the White House with the help of the Pentagon to solve the population immunization campaign.

Modern, already based in Cambridge (Massachusetts) has transported the vaccines from its factories to the warehouses of the American giant McKesson, which is dedicated to the distribution of medicines and will be responsible for shipping Moderna’s vaccine.

At the McKesson factory workers are now packing the vaccines in refrigerated boxes, Perna explained in his press conference.
